Interview Prep for Scholarships and Funded Programmes

Know the recurring questions

Expect: walk us through your application, why this scholarship, why this country, what you'll do after, and how you'll contribute to your community. Prepare a 60–90 second answer for each, then practise saying them out loud until they sound like you, not a script.

Have one strong story you can adapt to several questions — a project, a setback, a leadership moment. Specifics beat generalities every time.

The 48-hour routine

Re-read your own application and the scholarship's mission. Do two mock interviews with someone willing to interrupt and push back. Prepare two thoughtful questions to ask them. Sleep. Show up ten minutes early, calm, and let the prep do the work.
